Addiction Treatment Programs

The Problem At Hand

Addiction Treatment ProgramsDrug addiction is a problem that plagues many families in the country. Addiction is a demon that sneaks up on many people before they realize what hit them. The introduction to the drug may have been innocent, but the bond with such a substance is harmful. Before they know it, their bodies react negatively without the substance. Their thought processes cloud with images of the substance. All of their actions revolve around obtaining the drug in order to reap its false benefits. Using drugs quickly turns into a lifestyle and it affects everyone in those people’s lives. In most cases, inpatient addiction treatment centers are the only place they can go for help.

Drug addiction is one of the most prevalent diseases in the United States. In fact, according to The National Survey on Drug Use and Health, nearly 20 million Americans suffer from addiction to drugs and/or alcohol. The Freedom Center recognizes this ever-growing problem, and addresses it in a unique and effective manner. Our facility was designed to help people who have the desire to live a drug-free life, but understand they need some help along the way. We like to refer to individuals as students, as we teach them the coping skills needed to break free of their addictions, and live healthy, productive lives without the crutches of drugs and alcohol. We boast an amazing 70 percent success rate at helping our “students” get sober and stay that way. That means that three out of every four individuals who enroll in our addiction treatment program are successful at maintaining a substance-free existence. We provide a safe, clean and comfortable environment in which students will get the help they need to reenter society, free from the ties of addiction. Our facility is located in a serene, semi-wooded environment, and offers an exercise facility as well as group sports such as volleyball and basketball.

Freedom Center is Different

Here at Freedom Center, our addiction treatment programs usually begin with detoxification. Detox is a vital step in a patient’s road to recovery, as it eliminates all traces of illicit substances from the body. It’s important that detoxification take place in a safe environment and in the presence of professionals. At Freedom Center, we handle detoxing patients with the utmost care. Patients are given access to a sauna, which is used to “sweat out” toxins, and exercise facilities, and are also provided with healthy meals and vitamin supplements. This ensures that the patients’ systems are completely free of drugs, and replenished with essential vitamins and nutrients, which speed up the detoxification and recovery processes.

Once a patient has completed detox, their addiction treatment can begin. We take a unique approach to addiction rehabilitation here at Freedom Center; unlike other addiction treatment programs, our doesn’t include “treating” patients for the disease of addiction. Instead, we use a classroom setting to teach individuals how to break free from their addictions. We get to the root of each individual’s problems, and teach them coping skills that will help them in all areas of life. Our staff will work with students to help them recover from substance abuse in every way possible: from regaining self-esteem to relearning simple life skills. Students will also learn how to recognize and avoid triggers that make them want to use drugs, which greatly reduces their chances of relapse in the future.

Our success rate alone proves that our standards surpass those set my other addiction treatment programs. Our well-trained and capable staff will make sure students confront their addiction problems in a calm, nurturing environment, and learn how to reenter society as moral, ethical, productive and, most importantly, drug-free individuals.

The Levels of Addiction

The reason our facility succeeds when other facilities do not is knowledge. Our staff is highly educated about the various levels of addiction and they work with the clients individually on every level. Addiction is not just a physical problem. Addiction also has mental, social, and spiritual elements involved. In most cases, a person who has an addiction for a substance is attempting to fill a void within his or her soul. Our facility uses treatment methods that help the clients to recognize and cope with their spiritual and emotional ailments.

What our Facility Does

Our facility is very different from traditional inpatient addiction treatment centers. We provide a quiet and sterile environment for detoxification as most of them do. However, our programs go several steps above and beyond the traditional 12 step methods of treatment. Our courses teach clients how to confront and control certain situations. Our tools help our clients to avoid harmful situations and improve their problem solving skills. Our detoxification programs include a regimen of exercise, vitamins, liquids, and dietary changes that will increase their health and strength. We strive to re-establish the mental, physical, and spiritual strength of our clients.

Our Success

Many inpatient addiction treatment centers have a less than fifty percent success rate. Our facility has a seventy percent success rate. Three out of four clients who enter our program are able to stay clean after leaving. We believe that our success comes from treating our clients as students rather than patients. We are teaching these students to reinvent themselves into people who can overcome obstacles without substances. We are training our students the skill of finding their own inner strength and using it to succeed in their new lives.
