Arizona Addiction Treatment

The current drug problems in Arizona

Arizona Addiction TreatmentArizona is a magical state in that so many areas east to west and north to south hold an allure for vacation travelers in the state as well as outside.  Despite the tourist allure that the state holds, there is an ever-growing cloud on the horizon based on the state bordering on California and Mexico.  There are 3 principal ports of entry which are situated along the 350-mile long Arizona/Mexico border – Douglas, Nogales, and San Luis.  Additionally, there are 3 secondary entry points located at Lukeville, Naco, and Sasabe.

Despite being either primary or secondary ports of entry, all 6 cities serve as excellent avenues for illegal substances being trafficked in from Mexico.  The significance of the role that California plays lies in the fact that Arizona features two corridors (Interstate 10 and 40) for the distribution and trafficking of these substances through the state as they are transported between the east and west coast.

However, it is the trafficking of these substances into the state from Mexico that is the major concern since so many substances are grown or synthetically manufactured there.  Right now, the 6 primary substances that the DEA views as being the biggest problems in Arizona are:

  • club drugs or MDMA’s (e.g. Ecstasy)
  • cocaine (crack or powder)
  • heroin
  • marijuana
  • methamphetamine
  • prescription medications

If you live in Arizona and have had no success with an Arizona Addiction Treatment program you should consider contacting the Narconon Freedom Center as we welcome clients from that state.  We know how difficult it can be when you are trying to find the best substance addiction treatment and recovery program to facilitate your individual needs.  There are literally dozens of them out there.  Unfortunately, most of them have been designed and patterned after the unsuccessful conventional rehab facilities out there.

We offer alternative treatment and recovery techniques as well as innovative tools so that you remain substance-free for life when you return to Arizona.  We are also well aware of the fact that the majority of the Arizona Addiction Treatment programs available employ these out-of-date conventional methodologies.

There are three key factors to consider where considering the Narconon Freedom Center for your treatment and recovery needs are concerned:

  • a residential environment that is less intimidating and more comforting than the conventional facilities that look like clinics or hospitals
  • discovering the behavioral and/or psychological issues behind the substance addiction
  • we address the emotional and mental levels of the addiction, not just the physical ones
