Texas Addiction Treatment

Current drug threats in Texas

Texas Addiction TreatmentWhen you take international borders and seaports into consideration, the DEA in the state of Texas has its hands full where substance distribution and trafficking is concerned.  Bordering Mexico to the south and southwest, Texas offers numerous corridors for smuggling illegal substances into the US.  Additionally, the numerous ports of entry on the southeastern Gulf of Mexico boundaries enable more opportunities for substance distribution and trafficking organizations.

According to a DEA report that was published within the past year, the primary drug threats to the state and the US are:

  • crack and powder cocaine
  • heroin
  • marijuana
  • methamphetamines
  • predatory club drugs
  • prescription medications

Between the Mexican and South American substance trafficking organizations, both have taken every advantage of opportunities to import drugs into the US and have been very successful in the process.  Today, the state of Texas has numerous substance addiction treatment and recovery facilities available to those individuals who have fallen prey to the ravages of substance abuse and addiction.

Traditional treatment and recovery facilities

It’s discouraging to think that the majority of the traditional Texas addiction treatment and recovery centers are not that successful when it comes to total rehab from substance abuse.  The majority fail 80% of the time meaning that 4 out of every 5 clients that they treat return to society and will eventually relapse and become addicted again.  As a result of this statistic, the Narconon Freedom Center has been welcoming clients that have been unsuccessful in their attempts to recover from their addictions at one of these facilities.

We have more to offer clients than the majority of the Texas addiction treatment centers out there because the cost of all of our residency programs include:

  • educational materials necessary to a total recovery so that clients do not relapse
  • medical monitoring and screening which is conducted by the medical staff and licensed physicians
  • nutritional supplements which are administered throughout the detoxification process
  • room and board in a homelike setting instead of a facility that is clinical or hospital like in appearance
  • vitamin supplements administered on a daily basis while the client is in residential treatment and recovery programs

This is what separates the Narconon Freedom Center from the traditional Texas addiction treatment and recovery centers and also why we have the highest recovery success rate in the country (currently 70% or higher).  We are always here to help you around the clock because we know that substance addiction never rests.  If you need further assistance or want to learn more about our substance addiction treatment and recovery programs, and have not recovered from a Texas addiction treatment program, please call us today at the toll-free phone number listed above.
