Treatment for Opiate Addiction

Today’s traditional rehab centers usually employ the conventional 12-Step method during detoxification, treatment, and recovery and it is the primary reason for their excessive client failure rate when the individual returns to society.  Conversely, our Treatment for Opiate Addiction program utilizes alternative and innovative approaches which have resulted from years of drug addiction research.  It is a step by step process which we employ at our facility that utilizes eight courses in order to address all of the emotional, mental, and physical needs of the client.  These include:

  • The detoxification process
  • Improved learning training
  • Communication and perception improvement
  • Coping with life’s ups and downs
  • Improving personal integrity and values
  • Understanding life’s changing conditions
  • Other therapeutic training
  • Following the path to happiness

Additionally, when you combine these emotional and mental aspects, with the physiological cravings, it causes the individual to feel that they need drugs to cope with everyday life.

From past experience as well as research, we have learned that there is a broad of factors of factors contribute to opiate addiction.  We took that into consideration when we initially developed our Treatment for Opiate Addiction program.  The misuse and abuse of most substances such as alcohol, cigarettes, and illegal substances, usually begins during the formative years of a child’s life, namely childhood and the teen years.  Certain risk factors that are associated with their behavior both inside and outside the home ultimately increase the likelihood that some form of addiction will occur:

  • The home environment is chaotic or continually hectic
  • Nurturing and parental attachment is oftentimes lacking or non-evident
  • There is no noticeable parental guidance and/or parenting
  • The child displays either aggressive or shy behavior inside and outside the classroom when in school
  • Peer groups who have a deviant nature influence the child’s behavior
  • The child is never taught coping skills where life and society are concerned
  • The approval of substance abuse becomes a matter of personal perspective
  • School performance is below average and failing classes is commonplace

Our program also employs a series of steps which follow a prescribed sequence.  These learning programs and techniques enable the client to:

  • completely withdraw from the addictive substance
  • communicate effectively with others and their surroundings
  • eliminate any and all residual substances from their bodies
  • reach a point where they can be held accountable for as well as accept the responsibility of their actions
  • gain back the control of themselves and their surrounding environment

Our clients stay clean and sober for years to come after completing our Opiate Treatment program and leaving our facility.  They successfully move on with their lives positively and once again become productive and successful individuals.  Therefore, our Treatment for Opiate Addiction program provides them healthier lifestyles, free from their addictions long after the Opiate Treatment and recovery process is complete.
