Alcohol Rehabilitation Clinic

Alcohol Rehabilitation ClinicAny time an addicted individual enters our Alcohol Rehabilitation Clinic, they are usually interviewed and then evaluated as to the extent of the addiction so that we can formulate a treatment and recovery program for them that will enable them to get clean and sober.  Additionally, we schedule educational classes for them so that they learn how to remain substance-free for life while maintaining their new, healthier lifestyle.

The initial stage of the treatment process normally involves detoxification wherein the client rids their bodies of the substance that they have become addicted to.  Despite the positive outcome of detoxification, the client oftentimes encounters some extremely unpleasant side effects inclusive of:

  • Nausea, upset stomach, and even vomiting
  • Hallucinations and delusions
  • Erratic and sometimes violent behavior
  • Blackouts, dizziness, and fainting spells

Once this stage has been successfully completed by the client, the healing portion of our Alcohol Rehabilitation Clinic program begins.  The client is then provided with a variety of “recovery tools” during this stage, which enables them to have a successful treatment and recovery before returning to their communities.  These recovery tools include certain classes and other recovery therapies such as:

One-on-One counseling sessions – clients who take up residence here at our Alcohol Rehabilitation Clinic are counseled by a licensed staff member, usually a psychologist, in a very private one-on-one counseling session so that they can uncover what caused their addiction to occur.  From this point on, they continue to progress through the treatment and recovery process becoming clean and sober as a result.

Group therapy sessions – clients with similar addictions and needs all meet in closed-door, confidential meetings which enable them to interact with similar individuals who are suffering just like they are.  Additionally, they remain under the constant guidance and supervision of one of our licensed professional staff members.

  • Educational sessions including:
  • Addiction and spirituality
  • Co-dependency issues
  • Exercise Physiology
  • Health and Nutrition

These recovery tools also enable the client to heal from the damage that the addictive substance has caused physically, as well as emotionally and mentally.  The client learns three key things by using these recovery tools:

  • They learn how to be accountable for their actions and the consequences of them, and then accept the responsibility for their behavior
  • They learn how to make better decisions and be more responsible
  • They learn how to heal their emotional and mental wounds and regain their sense of self-esteem
