After Drug Detoxification

After the student has completed the drug  detoxification program, they are also able to go on escorted outings to local attractions such as swimming parks, movies, restaurants and bookstores. This helps to begin the re-acclimation process with society.  Also once the addiction treatment withdraw program has been completed, Sunday outings to a local non-denominational church are available for those students who wish to pursue spiritual development along with their addiction treatment.  A phone area is also available during non-course hours to allow students to maintain contact with their loved ones and to keep them apprised of their progress in the program.

In addition, we have a very experienced family consultant who also does after care programs with each student. On arrival the student signs a permission form for our family consultant to speak to whichever loved ones and family members they wish to be kept apprised of their progress in the addiction treatment program. Healing from drug addiction is a family process and many family members have concerns on how to best support the addiction treatment process; we are available to help the entire family begin the healing process and keep close coordination with the family to attain these goals. On site family meetings with the student and our family consultant are also available to help support our addiction treatment program.
