Toxins from the use of drugs and alcohol can remain trapped in fatty tissue for years, accumulating during the long course of a drug addiction. Removing and cleaning this build-up of drug metabolites is called detoxification. The specific drug detox program used at Narconon Freedom Center is the “Narconon New Life Drug Detox Program”.

Eliminate Cravings

The drug detox program has proven to be extremely effective at removing these toxins from the body, which is a very important step in the drug rehab process. If not removed, these toxins will be stimulated later in life by the student, creating the addictive cravings for the drug again. By completely eliminating all traces of the drug from the students body we have eliminated the likelihood that the student will have a craving due to the re-stimulation of the residue built up in their body.

The actual process of detoxifying the body of these materials includes long periods of time in a dry sauna, literally sweating the toxins out. Combine that with the power of proper diet, exercise, and supplementation, and the student can confidently move forward totally drug free ( in some extreme cases a medical detox is necessary).

By completing the drug detox program, students will significantly decrease their cravings for drugs. They will have increased mental clarity, and free themselves of the depression created by the chemical imbalance created by the residues of drug use.  The students will now begin  the re-acclimation process with society after they have completed their drug detox program.
