Medical Detox

The drug and alcohol rehab program at the Freedom Treatment Center uses no drugs or medication to resolve the issues that are caused by drug abuse and alcoholism. This is known as medical detox. The drug rehab program at Freedom Treatment Center instead uses a combination of proper nutrition and nutritional supplementation to help eliminate drug addiction and alcoholism. This program is not psychiatric, nor is it medical. Success is achieved through social education, which leads to a higher rate of drug rehabilitation success.

Freedom Treatment Center does however understand that there can be cases where an individual cannot safely withdrawal from drugs or medications without the use of an appropriate medical detox program. When this is found with one of our patients we will use an outside medical detoxification facility, that will safely withdrawal the individual from drugs before they start the Freedom Treatment Center Freedom program.

The safety of our patients and the delivery of a higher level of care is very important to us and we see it is a fundamental part of beginning the drug rehabilitation process.
