Addiction Drug Rehab

Addiction Drug Rehab Drug rehabilitation is one of the best methods used for treating drug addictions. Addiction drug rehab centers work by meeting the physical, emotional and mental needs of people addicted to drugs. According to the University of Texas, more than 23 million people are alcohol or drug addicts in the United States. If you or someone you know has a drug or alcohol addiction, you can contact the Freedom Center for help. Our rehab center offers treatment for an array of addictions, including prescription drugs, heroin, opiates, cocaine, alcohol, crack and marijuana.

Our Rehab Information

Our program allows addicts to move at their own pace until they become addiction free. Most drug rehab programs are a set 28 days, while our program allows guests to stay longer or go home sooner depending on their individual process. The cost of our rehab program includes room and board, education materials, medical screen and monitoring, nutritional supplements and daily vitamin supplements for the duration of the program.

Treatment

The first step in receiving help for a drug addiction is admitting the addiction and asking for help. Most people who do not admit their addictions or want help will not be successful in the treatment center. Once someone asks for help, it is time to give us a call so we can get him on the road to beating the addiction. Most of the time an addict will start with an inpatient treatment. This will cleanse his body of the drugs or alcohol and give him time to withdrawal. Some withdrawal symptoms are painful and medical staff can administer prescribed medication to help ease the symptoms. After the detox, patients will begin an outpatient treatment. The patients will stay in house and be monitored by trained medical staff. The patient can also attend individual or group meetings during this time. Many outpatient treatment centers allow the patients to leave for work or enjoy family time away. This all depends on the individual.

After Treatment

After completing treatment, recovering addicts can search for sober-living facilities to help keep sobriety. These facilities have a small group of recovering addicts living together. This helps the patient stay away from any bad habits and he is not faced with the temptations of drugs.
