Freedom Center Admits Clients From the State of Maryland
Located along the I-95 corridor is very convenient to the drug trafficking that plagues the state of Maryland. Situated near the northern end of the middle Atlantic region of the eastern seaboard, I-95 sees numerous instances of contraband, weapon, and drug trafficking because of where they are located near major cities such as Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. So it is no wonder that this type of situation would have evolved in the state of Maryland.
The Maryland Drug Rehab center serves hundreds of clients every year that have fallen prey to alcohol and other addictive substances. The treatment and recovery center is proud to claim one of the highest success rates in the entire US whereas most of the traditional facilities can only boast a 20% success rate at best. Maryland’s drug trafficking involves six different types of substances:
- Club Drugs
- Cocaine/crack cocaine
- Heroin
- Marijuana
- Methamphetamines
- Stolen pharmaceuticals
All of these are in abundant supply and readily available to anyone with the money to purchase them. Drug violation arrests hit an all-time high in 2007, and have backed off somewhat since then, but it is still a discouraging and sad situation at best.
We employ an alternative approach to substance addiction treatment and recovery here at the Maryland Drug Rehab center. Not only do we focus on the physical aspects of drug addiction, we also address all the emotional and mental issues that comes with substance abuse. Before leaving the facility, all of our clients are taught how to accomplish 8 different things:
- They learn how to reduce and/or eliminate their substance cravings
- They learn how to reduce and/or eliminate many of addiction’s side effects, specifically depression, fatigue, irritability, and problems sleeping
- They have a better sense of emotional, mental, and physical well-being
- They become much more aware of their immediate surroundings
- They improve their attention span and memory
- They are able to make better decisions and think much more clearly
- They become enthusiastic about their lives and living longer
- They increase their energy levels
Additionally, when they have successfully completed the program here at the Maryland Drug Rehab center, they remain clean and sober the rest of their lives and re-enter society as contributing and productive individuals of their communities over 70% of the time. So we know that we are employing the most ideal approach to substance addiction in our treatment and recovery facility.
