Opiate Drug Rehab

Opiate Drug RehabOpiates are one of the most powerfully addictive substances known to man and the terminology typically describes those narcotic opioid alkaloids derived from the opium poppy and its natural components.  The three most common opiates that individuals become addicted to are Heroin, Morphine, and opium.  Other biological or synthetic opiates include codeine, hydrocodone, oxycodone, papaverine, and thebaine.  Regardless of the addiction, it has created a huge need for Opiate Drug Rehab programs.

The traditional Opiate Rehab centers today typically clients with a combination of some educational approach and the 12-Step program.  Unfortunately, these conventional treatment and recovery methods do nothing to address the emotional and mental aspects of As a result, these traditional rehab facilities witness only a 20% success rate at best.  The reasons behind the individual’s addiction and their addictive behavior are not addressed, so once they leave the treatment center, they typically fall back into their old behavioral patterns and usually relapse again.

For many years, the traditional rehab centers have employed the 12-Step method in the detoxification, treatment, and recovery process as previously mentioned.  Conversely, our Opiate Drug Rehab program utilizes alternative approaches resulting from years of drug addiction research.  We employ a step by step process that utilizes eight courses to address the emotional, mental, and physical reasons behind drug addiction and relapse.  Additionally, these emotional and mental aspects, combined with the physiological cravings cause the individual to feel that they need drugs to cope with their everyday lives.

From past research, we have also learned that there are a variety of factors involved that contribute to opiate addiction and took that into consideration when we developed our Opiate Rehab program.  The misuse or abuse of substances such as alcohol, cigarettes, and illegal substances, typically begins in the childhood or teen years.  There are certain risk factors associated with these both inside the home as well as outside the home that ultimately increase the likelihood that addiction will occur:

  • The home environment is chaotic or continually hectic
  • Nurturing and parental attachment is oftentimes lacking or non-evident
  • There is no noticeable parental guidance and/or parenting
  • The child displays either aggressive or shy behavior inside and outside the classroom when in school
  • Peer groups who have a deviant nature influence the child’s behavior
  • The child is never taught coping skills where life and society are concerned
  • The approval of substance abuse becomes a matter of personal perspective
  • School performance is below average and failing classes is commonplace

Our
Opiate Drug Rehab
program is the only program of its type and extremely successful because it addresses the client’s emotional, mental, and physical make-up, and because we:

  • teach clients to be accountable for their actions and behavior
  • work diligently to heal the client’s emotional wounds
  • help to enhance the client’s self-esteem
