West Virginia Drug Rehab
Freedom Center Admits Clients From the State of West Virginia
Being largely a rural state, it should come as no surprise that West Virginia has a very pronounced drug problem. Cocaine, crack cocaine and MDMA, a psychoactive drug that is a member of the methamphetamine category, are available in plentiful supply throughout the state of West Virginia. The three most prolific substance issues are:
- the manufacture and distribution of methamphetamine
- the consumption and cultivation of marijuana
- pharmaceutical drug abuse and diversion
The methamphetamine issue peaked in 2005 when there were over 200 lab incidents recorded by the US Department of Justice. Since then the number has dropped drastically and two years ago, the amount of lab incidents were the lowest ever in the 5 years documented between 2003 and 2007.
The West Virginia Drug Rehab center has maintained one of the highest treatment and recovery rates in the US compared to the average 20% (or lower) rate of the traditional treatment and recovery centers. There are a number of reasons for this, but the most significant one is that unlike the other more traditional facilities, we address not only the physical consequences of substance abuse and addiction, but the emotional and mental ones alike.
The West Virginia Drug Rehab program works – it’s that simple. With over 70% of our clients freeing themselves for life from substance abuse and addiction, we feel we have a lot to brag about when you compare our treatment and recovery with the traditional facilities. Since no two clients are ever the same, and the type of substance abuse and addiction that they are suffering from is just as individualized as they are. So the duration of our programs average four to six months as a result of this.
When a client successfully graduates from the treatment and recovery program here at the West Virginia Drug Rehab center, they have done the following:
- They have completed our treatment and recovery program successfully
- They have learned how to live their lives free from the use of addictive substances and are have the ability to cope with their problems without the use of them
- They are confident and know that they can live a drug-free lifestyle
- They have learned the fundamentals of ethical and moral behavior, and understand them so as to become contributing and productive citizens of society once again
- They have re-learned how to educate themselves, therefore ensuring that they can now better their own lives and those around them
- They can effectively use the skills they acquired from our program so that they stay drug-free and avoid legal problems
No matter what type of background our clients come from, we are committed to their success here at the West Virginia Drug Rehab center.
