Inpatient Drug Treatment

apartment like atmosphere

Our inpatient drug treatment was designed and constructed to be more like a residential setting with an apartment like atmosphere for the client to live in while undergoing treatment and recovery. This affords our clients certain benefits that they cannot enjoy in the more traditional facilities such as:
  • relaxing in the comfort of their own apartment while they study their courses (which come with our treatment and recovery programs)
  • interacting with other residents during meal time or “downtime”
  • being in a clean and sober environment rather than a destructive one

One of the Key Reasons Behind Our Continued Success Rate

Narconon inpatient drug treatment ResultsOne of the key reasons behind our continued success rate is the fact that our inpatient drug treatment does not look like a clinic or hospital like the traditional facilities do. Instead, our clients enter a residential atmosphere and reside in an apartment like setting while they are undergoing detoxification, treatment, and recovery. Despite the unpleasantries that the client encounters during the detox stage, they are afforded the benefit of living in a homelike setting which is more comforting and relaxing.

Learning the Skills Necessary to Succeed in Life

The Narconon Freedom Center inpatient drug treatment teaches abilities and skills that drug addicts are missing. They have not learned coping skills they will need in a substance free life. They have used alcohol and substances or allowed their use take over as coping mechanism in their daily lives. An emphasis is placed on communication, studying, and learning to behave ethically in their lives. The outcome of this is a student that can more comfortably deal with life without becoming overwhelmed by it. Practicing these sets of skills prove to be a method of therapy, not just an educational exercise.

Another benefit

Another benefit of being treated at our inpatient drug treatment is that the client progresses continually so that they are able to handle increasingly more responsibility until they can once again be a part of their community. This also entails helping those around them as they interact with other clients undergoing residential treatment and recovery. The bottom line is that they have learned how to live without drugs once they have completed our residential treatment and recovery program.

Life’s Condition after inpatient drug treatment

By taking a close look at his or her own past, the drug addict is able to make changes and repair their lives. This part of the program allows the student to show to himself and others that he is capable of re-entering normal society with positive contributions and behavior. The student will learn before moving to the next phase of their inpatient drug treatment that every condition they allow to remain will cause problems in all parts of their lives.

Entering inpatient drug treatment

inpatient drug treatment Any time an addicted individual enters our inpatient drug treatment, they are usually interviewed and then evaluated as to the extent of the addiction so that we can formulate a treatment and recovery program for them that will enable them to get clean and sober. Additionally, we schedule educational classes for them so that they learn how to remain substance-free for life while maintaining their new, healthier lifestyle.
