comparing our New Jersey drug treatment centres to the other facilities

When a client enters our New Jersey drug treatment centres, there are certain levels of supervision which are still necessary. However, they quickly discover that they have certain freedoms as well. Here are some critical factors to take into consideration when comparing our center to the other facilities out there:
  • Our facility provides the client with a residential environment in order to recover while undergoing treatment and recovery
  • We provide the client with recovery tools which enables them to have a successful rehabilitation process so that they maintain their new, healthier lifestyle and remain clean and sober for life
  • When clients leave our facility and return to their communities, they oftentimes become the contributing and productive individuals they once were before they became addicted to drugs

much more innovative and modern

The client takes up residency in our New Jersey drug treatment centres while they are undergoing the treatment and recovery process. Many treatment and recovery facilities offer this type of treatment and recovery, whether they are one of the traditional facilities or one such as ours. We offer alternative treatment and recovery therapies that are much more innovative and modern than what the traditional facilities do. The key difference is that we also offer our clients a variety of recovery tools so that they remain clean and sober for life once they return to their communities.

Traditional New Jersey drug treatment centres

The traditional rehabs out there only experience a 20% success rate which means that 80% of their clients who leave the facility usually relapse once they return to their communities. We teach our clients to address three key elements necessary so that they rehabilitate successfully and remain clean and sober for life - Accountability, Responsibility, and Time. They are held accountable, accept the responsibility for their addiction and its consequences, and learn that their addiction did not occur overnight so the recovery process could take years as a result.

Understanding drug addiction

One of the primary aspects that oftentimes go overlooked by many rehab centers is that they do not investigate what is behind the individual’s drug addiction. In order to understand the addiction and treat it successfully, you have to understand what the psychological issues are that triggered the addictive behavior. In the US today, alcohol and drug addiction typically results from the onset of behavioral disorders or depression. We have long realized that you have to find out the cause of the addiction if you are going to treat it properly and if the client is going to experience a successful recovery. Many drug addiction counselors and other medical professionals feel that alcohol and/or drug addiction is a disease of the brain and views this as an allergy to the body. Past research has led to this conclusion as it is frequently referred to as either a chronic, primary, progressive, or relapsing type of disease. Additionally, individuals are extremely reluctant to admit that they do have a problem and then go on to seek New Jersey drug treatment centres in order to heal from it.

you cannot force anyone to get help

When someone has a problem with drug use, they might choose to get help. Remember that you cannot force anyone to get help for a drug problem. If a person does not really want to get help, they are not going to be able to take the steps necessary to get better and to avoid relapse. Deciding that they want New Jersey drug treatment centres is an important step in recovery from drug addiction and abuse.
