In Patient Substance Abuse Treatment
Different addiction treatment and recovery programs to choose from
Throughout the US today, there are literally hundreds of addiction treatment and recovery centers that treat a variety of substance addiction issues. You have the traditional facilities that use the more conventional modalities and therapies to treat substance abuse. But you also have the alternative addiction treatment facilities that offer their clients the more innovative treatment methods and recovery therapies.
The Narconon Freedom Center is an alternative addiction treatment and recovery center that offers numerous programs that target the individual needs of every client. Our programs can be customized to suit an addicted individual’s needs so that when they leave our facility and return to society, they remain substance-free for life. Additionally, over 70% of our clients beat their addiction which is one of the highest success rates in the US.
About our programs
We feature two basic categories of addiction treatment and recovery programs that target all types of substances. There are out-patient and in-patient substance abuse treatment programs. So what are the differences despite what their names imply?
Out-patient substance abuse treatment programs are typically an alternative, lower intensity type of approach to addiction treatment and recovery. Basically, clients who go through an out-patient program are allowed to remain in their homes while they are being treated for and recovering from their addictions. Typically, out-patient programs tend to be more educational than therapeutic as well as being more supportive in nature.
For the most part, in-patient substance abuse treatment programs are divided into two groups – short-term or long-term residency programs. With these programs the length of stay is typically determined by the severity of the individual’s addiction and detoxification is most likely a necessary part of the entire treatment and recovery process. Some times the detox needs to be medically supervised and medications prescribed to alleviate the client’s painful withdrawal experience.
