Michigan Substance Abuse Treatment

Growing concerns with substance abuse and addiction

Michigan Substance Abuse TreatmentSubstance abuse is a major concern with law enforcement and public health officials no matter what state in the US we are talking about.  Every year, the DEA publishes reports regarding these issues with every state in the country and every year, these reports reveal how the problem continues to expand into areas that you would not expect it to happen in.  Furthermore, substance abuse is considered a major public health threat in the US.

In addition to the law enforcement and legal issues above, roughly 40 million annually reported cases involving serious illness and death bear testimony to the dire public health threat that substance abuse and addiction have become.  As a result there are hundreds of addiction treatment and recovery facilities throughout the US, many of which are located in the state of Michigan.

The need for better treatment and recovery programs

The harsh reality is that the majority of the traditional Michigan substance abuse treatment programs out there are failing their clients.  This is evidenced by the fact that nearly 80% of all the individuals who enroll in them wind up returning to society and relapsing into their addictions.  Sadly, they continue to abuse the substances that were controlling their lives to begin with.

The traditional addiction treatment and recovery format relies on conventional, out-of-date modalities and therapies, such as 12-Step programs, while taking a one-size-fits-all approach to the issue.  Clearly, this isn’t working as evidenced by that 80% failure rate mentioned above.  Conversely, the alternative Michigan substance abuse treatment that we offer here at the Narconon Freedom Center has been witnessing one of the highest success rates in the US (70% or higher).

What separates our Michigan substance abuse treatment programs from others is the fact that we offer the client a number of recovery tools that the traditional addiction treatment and recovery don’t.  These include a residential environment, educational materials, and courses that teach the clients who enroll in our programs how to remain substance-free once they have recovered from their addictions and return home to their communities.

We are here to help you around the clock

The Narconon Freedom Center and caring, professional staff members are well aware of the fact that substance addiction never sleeps.  It continues to ravage the addicted individual every hour of every day.  That is why we are always available to talk with you about your particular situation and determine which one of our Michigan substance abuse treatment programs would best be suited to facilitate your specific needs.  We would like to help you get back on the road to normalcy so please call us today at the toll-free phone number above for help.
